Cream Cheese Appetizers
These tasty morsels are quick and easy to make. (Serves 10 to 12)
Six 10-inch Flour Tortillas
One 8 oz. Pkg Cream Cheese w/Chives
2/3 cup finely grated carrots
Salt & Pepper
Trim off the edges of the tortillas about 1 inch so that they are more square than round.
Spread cream cheese thinly over each tortilla.
Sprinkle with grated carrots.
Lightly salt & pepper to taste.
Roll tortillas tightly and cut into bite size pieces.
Make these ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can experiment with your favorite wraps and fillings. Freshly chopped scallions, sweet onion, dill, or even a bit of horseradish can be added for extra zest.
Here’s another variation: a thin layer of pepper jelly and plain cream cheese.
Make a neat lunch or snack for the kids with plain cream cheese and their favorite jelly. There’s no mess to clean up or uneaten crust with bite size pieces.
With so many different kinds of wraps and cream cheese spreads available, the possiblities are almost endless!
