The 188 acre Apple Island Campground on Lake Champlain is home to Apple Island Marina and the nine hole Executive Golf Club. The campground includes 300 campsites, seasonal rentals, Olympic size pool, playground and planned activities. Just minutes from Burlington, and within an hour’s drive of some of Vermont’s many attractions.

Bass, Salmon, Lake Trout and Pike fishing are some of the best anywhere. The marina is nestled in one of Lake Champlain’s safest harbors. It offers 54 slips, 28 moorings and gas at the dock. For some serious fishing or just a relaxing family outing, you can bring your boat and leave it at the dock. Tournament bass fishing is just a phone call away. Charts and fuel are available on the well-protected launch ramp. If you don’t have a boat of your own, you may choose to rent one. Powerboats, kayaks and canoes are available.

The golf course at Apple Island Resort was designed to make golfing easy and fun. Many guests play two or three times a day. Grandparents teach their grandchildren the finer points (and etiquette) of the great game of golf. Nine Holes, 2700 yards long and a par 3 course that’s fun for everyone.

Scheduled events at the pool include music and dancing on the weekends.. Bingo is held every Monday and Friday night from mid May through mid September. Christmas and Halloween in July, a Scavenger Hunt in August, there are always lots of activities for the entire family.
